Urban Village Commitee
The Urban Village Committee is the planning arm of Fenway CDC, its members are those neighbors that have graciously volunteered to be point person for an specific project. The Urban village committee chair reports to the Board of Fenway CDC all point person assignments, status of projects, comment letters and details about public meetings where projects are discussed.
A point person:
All project point people are members of the committee by default. They may not need to attend every Planning Committee meeting, but if their project is timely, they should plan on attending as the point person.
The planning committee will provide review support and comments to the point person to incorporate into project comment letters.
A point person should learn the details about a project, attend all public meetings where the project will be discussed, and begin to prepare a comment letter on behalf of the Fenway CDC.
Become a point person:Because Fenway neighborhood is constantly at change, we need you to help us in review the process for new projects, we give you the training and technical support, you will be the voice of our organization!
Meetings
The Urban Village Committee normally meets once a month, to discuss the status of every project, to ear proposals of developers or institutions and to update the needs of every point person.
